Custom field output via module

Thomas Venugopal's Avatar Thomas Venugopal
I have a module with this code:
<div id="order-widget" data-product="{article-productcode}[product:value]{/article-productcode}">
    content
</div>

Then I have two joomla article where I include this module. Both articles have a custom field configured with its product code to be inserted into the data attribute.

Problem: On page 1 the product code is inserted into the data attribute. But on page 2 the product code is not inserted. I tried to output the product code directly on page 2 without a module and you can see it. But as soon as I load the html code via the module it disappears. Its strange that it works on page 1 but not on page 2 via the module.

I played with the position of the system plugin but nothing changed. Any hints?

{article-productcode}
What kind of tag is that? That is not Articles Anywhere.
Not sure what you are trying to do.

This is a nested article tag and has a suffix describes as here docs4.regularlabs.com/articlesanywhere/g...ther/nested-articles . It doesn't matter if it has a suffix or not. Both don't work in the scenario described above.
Not sure what you are trying to do.

I'm trying to insert a custom field into an HTML structure. As simple as that. But it only works if the article tag is inserted directly into the Joomla article. When I load the article tag via a module, it doesn't work on every page.

Try switching on the Prepare Content option in the module.

It's already on.

No idea. I also don't see where that "last order widget" should be.

Ah, I see the widget now and what you are trying to do.
No idea why it isn't being output.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

Can you also give me (s)ftp access?

I asked IT, but they say that it is not possible for you to access the sftp server. But you can install a file extension if you need one. You can do what you want on staging.
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
I can't/won't use a Joomla file browser to change files. If I change something that breaks the admin, I have no way to fix it. Also, it works very crappy.
So if you can provide direct (s)ftp access to an environment where I can see the issue, I am happy to look into this further.

Options:

1. We can give you access when you have a static IP.
2. We can install a good file explorer on our own - independently of Joomla.
3. You can investigate using TeamViewer on my pc.

It won't connect and times out.
Maybe it needs to open up for IPv6: 2001:1c01:410e:1700:e13b:56cf:8a81:afba

If this still fails, I can't help you further.
I recommend you try to reproduce the issue on a simpler setup to which you can give me simple ftp access without needing to go through hoops.
