articles not displaying

Hi there
i am trying to get the articles anywhere to work with Joomla 4.4.4
I have used the button plugin with JCE which correctly inserts the code
{article id="4715"}{/article}
However when I either preview or access the article all I see is
[article] on the page
Any suggestions?

No idea. It should work.
In what kind of content are you placing the tags? In another article? Or in a module? Or something else?
Do you have this online so I can take a look?
