articleslinked: empty ouput

Hitsch's Avatar Hitsch
We have amedia library, with two categories: Works and Authors. In a post of the category works we link one or more authors via the custom field "articles". In the view of a post from the authors category, we want to list the linked works (articleslinked).
{article}[id][author-works]{/article}
But the output is empty. - We do not filter categories in the custom field "author-works" or include all article categories. What could be the reason for this?

I don't really follow how your setup is.
Have you placed the Articles Anywhere tags in an article? Or in the layout of Articles Field? Or somewhere else?

We have placed it in the Article Template for all posts in the "Authors" category. From our point of view, this is a correct procedure that has worked so far.

What do you mean with "Article Template"?
Are you using some kind of page builder?

Yes, we work with Yootheme Builder. (The concept works on other websites without any problems, flawlessly 🙂 ).

It is probably due to the system plugin ordering. Try changing the ordering of the plugins in question.

Thank you, that is of course a good hint! But can it be the plugin order if AA otherwise works properly, i.e. the output
{article}[id]{/article}
outputs the ID correctly?
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
{article}[id][author-works]{/article}
So does that not output anything? Or just the ID?

we want to output different things, but I have also added the ID for testing. Here
{article}[id] [title] [author-work]{/article}
only the output of the field "author-works" is missing.

Try:
[field:author-work]

You deleted the post with the URL, so not sure you figured it out...

But in that article the 'autor-werke' field is switched off. So I don't know what you expect it to output...
