Custom field as an url ?

I use Article anywhere for managing custom fields.
One of my fields is used as url :

<a href="{article}[pdf:value]{/article}">PDF</a>

The problem is that article anywhere adds the comments in the url...

<a href="/< START: Articles Anywhere >https://...pdf< END: Articles Anywhere >">PDF</a>

Is it possible to remove these comments?

Yes, there is an option for that in the Articles Anywhere system plugin settings.

Alternatively you can do this instead:

{article}<a href="[pdf:value]">PDF</a>{/article}
