Hi,
I have an external database set up in AA, but it doesn't seem to replace custom field tags. It either shows the original [custom_field_name] tag, or just nothing at all. Joomla 4, AA 12.5.1PRO.

And do you have custom fields with that name in the website where you are loading in the content?
So not the external website, but the receiving site...

Hi Peter,
In the case of the tag not being replaced, no - the field only exists on the external site. In the case of the blank output, yes, there is a field with the same name on both sites (external and receiving).

When importing content from other databases, only the raw content is pulled over. It then gets passed through the plugins as if it were on the destination site itself.
So it will not grab custom fields from the remote site.
