How do I stop Article Anywhere inserting <pre></pre> tags around the first few paragraphs. It does this when Fix HTML is set to Yes, When Fix HTML is set to No it seems to only put the <pre></pre> tags around the first few paragraphs.

That would mean you have those pre tags around the {article} tags in your editor. Probably the result of copy/pasting code.
So solution: remove the pre tags in the editor.

Yes - They were in the Custom Module code where I had embedded the Article. I copied the code form your website and didn't think to check that.

Wen copying code from wherever, I recommend you use the "paste as plain text" option.
