I think that the article anywhere tags are not interpreted in admin mode.
So in mail send with acymailing for exemple, the tags are displayed instead of the results.

This plugin enables you to trigger the content plugin system on AcyMailing. The Joomla Content plugin system has not been developed to be triggered from the backend and so you may have some non compatible plugins, that's why this plugin is not enabled by default

So I'll track with a debugger to see why Article Anywhere is not triggered by the acymailing plugin (named "trigger Joomla Content plugins") in admin mode.

Oups, yes probably, normaly onContentPrepare is an event of content plugins, even if it's triggered in system plugins...
