This is not a question, but a request. I am a webmaster and I use both Modals and Slider a lot for my clients' websites.
At the moment I am stuck in the migration to Joomla 4 because of the unavailability of these extensions.
I have seen the roadmap, but please try to release the versions for Joomla 4 as soon as possible.

I'm in the same situation with modals, and I understand that asking you to work faster on getting it done is not possible. However, it would help if we had a more precise estimate of when in the second half of 2022 it might be available.

Any update on this now? It is September and Modals is not yet updated to Joomla 4. This extension is heavily used on all my joomla 3.x sites and it is preventing me from upgrading. I am currently in the process of updating all my sites to PHP 8.x and wanted to upgrade to joomla 4 at the same time so I don't have to do double work I have so many sites that if this extension isn't updated soon it is going to push me past the EOL for both PHP 7.x and EOL for joomla 3 in general. Id rather not do double work.

Is there a developmental version for joomla 4 at this point that I could try?

What do you mean by "2 years" ?
in every joomla backend it is shown:
"Joomla 3.10 to end support on 17 August 2023"

Do not want to push things here. Just writing to be marked as one more who is waiting for Modals as i was using it for years in joomla 3. Hope it is going to be ready as mentioned before the end of the year.
