I'm working with Sourcerer (9.2.3 Pro), JCE Editor (2.9.30) in Joomla 4.2.2 Backend. I also installed JCE MediaBox (2.1.2).

When editing article with JCE Editor and press the Code Button (Joomla Editor Buttons) the Code window pops up but the "Insert" and "Close" buttons in the lower right corner are not shown.
When using TinyMCE Editor these two buttons (Insert, Close) are shown.

Any ideas why this happens?

I'm not sure if I understand you right when you ask about the core Joomla editor.

As I wrote when using standard TinyMCE Editor and open the "Code" window the 2 buttons (Insert, Close) are shown in the bottom right.
There is no Page Break or Contact button in the bottom right. Page Break button is shown in TinyMCE on the toolbar.

But when I switch using JCE editor (not JCE Pro) the buttons Insert" and "Close" are not shown in the "Code" window.

Thanks for the print screens, that helped me a lot.
I compared with another test installation and found the cause of my problem:

The problem only occurs when in JCE Editor |"Profiles"|"Default"|"Features & Layout" the Button "Joomla Editor Buttons" is used in the "Current Editor Layout" (by default this toolbar button is not used, you find it under "Available Buttons & Toolbars").
Then none of the Joomla core editor buttons will show at the buttom of editor window.
Instead you find the following under the toolbar button "Joomla Editor Buttons":
- Code (Sourcerer Editor Button)
- Article
- Contact
- Field
- Menu
- Module
