PHP code is misinterpreted

Marc Dorys's Avatar Marc Dorys
Hello,
I have been using Sourcerer for several years with happiness and in particular to insert PHP code in my articles in Joomla 3.
I am busy creating a new site in Joomla 4 so I have installed the latest version of Sourcerer.
I was surprised that my PHP code that I put in my articles no longer works. After research and testing, I realize that the "<" and ">" are no longer interpreted.
This means that if I want to use, for example, the PHP command echo <DIV>; it is simply ignored.
By replacing the "<" and ">" by "& lt;" and "& gt;", this partially solves the problem but it makes the code unreadable and the modifications very complicated to implement.
In short: as it stands, Sourcerer has become unusable!
How can I get Sourcer to behave satisfactorily (i.e. like before)? Or alternatively, can the older version of Sourcerer run on Joomla 4?
Thanks for your help,
Marc.

Are you using the WYSIWYG editor?
If not, then: docs3.regularlabs.com/sourcerer/going-fu...ing-a-wysiwyg-editor

Yes, I prefer a non-wysiwyg editor!
Thank you very much for your reply, it looks perfect 🙂
I love your extensions, thank you again, keep it up!
