Javascript removed in module ??

Ronny Buelund's Avatar Ronny Buelund
I have placed some javascript in a module for refreshing the page, but the script is removed: "<!-- Sourcerer Message: The code has been removed, as Sourcerer is not activated here. -->"

But I have activated "Other areas" in the settings - why is this not working ?

If you have 'Prepare Content" switched on, the module will be interpreted as an article. Do you have any security levels set up for the articles in Sourcerer?

Hmm - well it is a public module and 'Prepare Content' is switched on, but setting the safety level under Articles to Everyone does not change anything ??

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.

If you can reproduce this on an online environment to which I can get access, I am happy to look into this.

I have tried on another site - and here the code is not removed ??

Actually the prepare content was not set on the module on the first site, so I do not see why the code is removed.

In the plugin settings I have theese settings under the pane "Safety - other areas":

Activate other areas: Yes
CSS: Default
JavaScript:Yes
PHP: Yes

I have no idea. Hard to see if not being able to look behind the curtains.
If all settings in Sourcerer are the same... no idea.
Maybe something with the system plugin ordering.

If you cannot reproduce the issue on a setup to which I can get access, there is not much I can do for you.

What would be the optimal system plugin ordering ?
Ronny Buelund's Avatar Ronny Buelund
I now placed the sourcerer plugin in the top of the system plugin list and cleared cache, but no change 🙁 I will see if I can make a clone of the site without users.

Hmmm.. odd.. I found out, that the code is NOT removed when I am not logged in on the page, but it IS removed when I am logged in ??

Did you have a final comment on this ??
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
Well, no. I was waiting for you to make that clone of the site...
