Well I hate to say, I did my best to read the documentation, but what is intuitive to some escapes me and is not obvious in the documentation.
1. I have created a search.
2. How do I run a saved search and replace?
3. Where does the list of searched and replaced events appear? I need to show what was changed.
4. How do I run a search and not immediately replace the text? I need to run a search and give a subject matter expert a list of occurrences to review and approve changes.
I of course followed the instructions to test a search and created an article title of Cat with cat in the text. Nothing happens so as I suspected, a "run" method must be needed with a results list.
ReReplacer will replace on the frontend of your site. It does nothing to the original content in your editor.

These do not apply to ReReplacer. The replacements are done on-the-fly on every page (you tell it to). So there is no overview.
What is it you are trying to do with ReReplacer? What is the end goal?
I understand it replaces on the front end. After creating the search “following the documentation” nothing happens in the Joomla article viewed in the front end.
Use case: search for a word, replace the word in the front end. Without a log it limits my additional use case.
I will submit a brief video to demonstrate.
