CDN and very big files

Antonio The Ant's Avatar Antonio The Ant
Hi
I would like to use the CDN pro plugin with Amazon Cloud Front for a site that uses very large audio and video files (even more than 1 Gb). Have you had similar experience? can there be problems with uploading/synchronization or the like?
Thanks

That's something you'll need to ask Amazon about.

The CDN for Joomla plugin doesn't upload files. It just changes the media urls to the CDN equivalents.
Your CDN provider is responsible for pulling the files to its server and serving the files via those urls.

Peter, thanks for the reply.
Is your old post ( regularlabs.com/blog/1240-how-to-use-ama...cloudfront-in-joomla ) still valid or has something changed in the meantime?
Regards

Maybe things at Cloudfront have changed. If so, let me know.
