Modules Anywhere with Advanced Module Manager

I have been testing the free versions of both Modules Anywhere & Advanced Module Manager. I am running Joomla 5.1 and everything is up-to-date. I used Modules Anywhere to insert a module in the headline tag of a page. Prior to instal AMM, I attempted to use the Advanced Module Class (d-none d-sm-block) with no results. So I downloaded AMM and set it up to hide on mobile. It works just fine with a module that is placed, but the one I inserted with Modules Anywhere is not effected using any conditions.

Is this a limitation of the module being assigned to a headline tag?
