Hello I currently use stackideas.com/easyblog/ . I wanted to know will the cdn plugin place all of my images from joomla on the cdn ? The cdn plugin is a feature in a few of the extension that I use but the core images are still in the local directory. Will it work for the core joomla images ?

CDN for Joomla! doesn't place files on your CDN server. It just replaces the urls of images (and other files) in your html output with the CDN equivalent urls.
Your CDN server should pull the images to the CDN server on request.

Test out the free version of CDN for Joomla! to see if it works for you.
