Hi Peter,
I see this nice Better Preview only available for J3, will it be migrated at all? Or did you stop developing this Extension?
There is a difference with Better Frontend Link, above all because this doesn't work with unpublished items and Better Preview did.

No, Better Preview will no longer be developed. If Better Frontend Link doesn't work for you, then I have no solution for you.

There is a big difference I think between the 2 extensions. In Better Preview a Preview was shown, if the article was published or not. That was a powerfull (and needed) option that Better frontend link doesn't have.
Is there an option to migrate the extension to J5? Or can we do it ourselves pherhaps?

I am not going to create an extension that can preview the article. So no, Better Preview will not be migrated to Joomla 4/5.
You are free to take the Joomla 3 code of Better Preview and port it over to Joomla 5 if you so wish (and can).
