Pro Version Question

Hi - I am happy to buy the pro version for one year but I don't want the ongoing subscription cost. I want to play with the Pro version on a site I am developing but don't want the year over year committment. When paying via credit card it is an ongoing subscription. Can I send a year payment another way without having to try to figure out to cancel the year over year subscription?
