I use Shack Article Manager Pro that allows users to create articles from the front end.
I would like to use Content Templater to restrict the available categories that the user can publish their article to.
As it is now, when the user selects the publishing tab all categories at all levels are listed.
Id like to restrict that to a subset of categories that are available to publish to.
Is it possible to do this in the Pro version.

No. Content Templater can only pre-fill fields. It doesn't block them or change the available options.
