My site members can already create articles and have them listed within the 'My Articles' core Jomsocial addons on their profile page.
What I'd like to achieve is the following :
Any articles created by a user (David), which reside in the 'Podcast' category and/or carry the 'podcast' tag will be displayed within a module on David's Jomsocial profile page - "David's Podcasts"
Is this possible?

Advanced Module Manager only controls when and where modules are shown. It does not determine what the specific modules actually display. That is down to the module itself.
You can probably do what you want within the module with Articles Anywhere Pro. Where you could list all articles filtered down by the ID of the user. You might need to do some PHP magic to get the userid of the current profile to pass on to the Articles Anywhere filters. You could do that with the help of Sourcerer.
And use Advanced Module Manager to make sure the module shows only on the pages you want (Jomsocial profile pages).
