Search results are from bug reports

When I do a search in this forum, the only search results shown come from "Bug Reports".

That depends on what you are searching for.

The search shows results from the extension category (like Modals) and the Bug Reports (as they can contain questions about Modals too).

What are you looking for?

I searched for "login" for info on how to make the login module show up in a modal ala your website. When I do that, I get 9 bug report results and 1 modal result.

I went page by page through the first 10 pages and found a post with "login" in the title on Pages 3, 8, 9, and 10.

I'm assuming that the 10 results that show are the latest 10 posts. I thought that I could type "login" in the search field and either hit 'Enter' or click the magnifying lens icon to get all of the results, but that just reloads the page adding a '?' to the end of the URL.

For the Login popup, I use a combination of Modals and Modules Anywhere.

Something like:
{modal content="loginbox" title="Log in" class="my-special-class"}
    Log in
{/modal}

{modalcontent loginbox}{module Login}{/modalcontent}

See here for more on inline content in Modals:

Thanks for the info. I had found it in another post. My question was more about the search functionality.

Is there a way to see ALL results of a search term?
Peter van Westen's Avatar Peter van Westen ADMIN
No, there is no option for that. I currently upped the number of results to 20.
