Authenticatation Not Working

I have a message that says I need to sync the database - I've received this before and syncing or re-downloading worked fine, but not now.

- I cleared my cache
- I've reinstalled the GeoIP plugin
- I logged into my MaxMind account, generated a new key and installed that key into the plugin.
- Waited 10 minutes and tried to Syn or Re-download, but I get this message: Your account ID or license key could not be authenticated.

Appreciate your feedback.

Should be working. Maybe something is blocking the connection to MaxMind.
VPN? Some Joomla security/firewall extension?

I have no VPN and we have not changed any of our security settings...and I can log into my MaxMind account without problems.

Since we were not using this for anything specific, I simply uninstalled it.
