Cache Cleaner CLI

Kovacs Peter's Avatar Kovacs Peter
Hello,

I know there is a method to add a cron job to clean the cache: docs4.regularlabs.com/cachecleaner/tutorial/cron-jobs
But what do you think about supporting cache cleaning via Joomla CLI method?
Joomla handles it very well, it's robust and clean to use.

docs.joomla.org/J4.x:Writing_A_CLI_Application

Could you please consider adding this?

Thank you in advance

Hello,

I checked multiple sites, and it works, thanks.

A few notes:

On some sites, the console plugin is installed and enabled upon first installation. However, on other sites, the plugin is installed but not enabled. In this case, "cachecleaner:clean" is not defined. When I re-install from the same URL, it enables the plugin.

On some sites, I sometimes get the error "Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\Application\ConsoleApplication::getDocument()" when I run the command, but if I run it again immediately, I get a success message. I returned after a few hours and got the same result (error and success after).

And a question:
Should the -vvv verbose parameter show something here? I got the same result with and without -vvv.

Thank you for your help; the update will be very helpful.

Just like with the Joomla core cache:clean command, the -vvv doesn't do anything.
