Blank screen for setting ConditonalContent Rules

Richard Townsend-Rose's Avatar Richard Townsend-Rose
Hi
I am impressed with Conditional Content.
I tried it successfully on Linnpark.org.uk
I then tried it on PropertyRegulation.org.uk and on trying to set a new conditional rule, there is no drop down to select a rule type.
I had a backup from before installing CC. Restored, and installed CC and all works well on my local PC
Backed that up and restored to a new directory on my server.
The CC works fine. See here for my test: tdocplus.co.uk/02_ROPA/ - the conditional rules are re access.
I have run Akeeba's Admin Tools for Joomla using the four yellow tools. No difference

Note: keep getting a checkin failure notice: r07o8_conditions table on both local pc and remote server.

Any ideas ?

Note that the rules are functioning, so development can continue. I am mystified.
Please email me for admin login if you need it.

So what exactly is the issue you are still having?

If you get a blank or error screen, enable debug mode and switch on error reporting in the Joomla configuration to see what is going on.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me how to see/reproduce the issue.

Once logged in

Select Components, Regular Labs, Conditions.
You will see the two rules I have setup
Select New, and Add rule . . .
or select and existing condition and Add rule

Then Select System and see Global Check-in . . .

For whatever reason, the field file for the rule type is not being found.
No idea what would cause that.

Can you also give me (s)ftp access so I can take a deeper look?

I have asked to arrange.
I have given them as your contact.
At 77 it is all a bit beyond me.

I am unable to understand the reply from Support . . .
What exactly do you want to download ?
I always download the .jpa file via my browser and have never ever had a problem

Sorry, I don't understand your reply. I just need (s)ftp access. You should be able to set that up at your host.

Just setup a new site at tdocplus.co.uk/00_ROPA
Have added you as a super user as before.
It was a "once click install" at 4.2.6. Upgraded to 4.4.7 and then to 5.1.3 and configured user passwords
Installed Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup
Installed Conditional Content
Setup the two rules I need
Back to System and two items to be checked in to the Conditions table.

Not sure why you don't understand how to do this yourself. The "FTP Accounts" button is right there in your control panel.

Anyway, made an account myself now.

On the 00_ROPA site, all seems to be working fine.
On the 02_ROPA, there seems to be something acting differently dues to casing (lowercase vs titlecase field names).
Please try the latest development version from:

That seems to have fixed the problem of no drop down.
Just the check-in problem exists - which is not a real problem
great job
