Using ArticlesAnywhere with layout=my-override: CustomFields donot load JS and CSS files

Husi's Avatar Husi
When using ArticlesAnywhere with alternative layout (template override for article) like

{article id="27"}[article layout="my-layout"]{/article}

the FieldsHelper doesn´t add assets like JS or CSS files when loading the custom fields for my article.

Seems there is some problem (limitation?) with ArticlesAnywhere.
I can fix the problem by loading assets manually in my template. But for sure it would be better, when the files would be loaded with the used CustomFields as it shpuld be the way.

Tis is down to how Joomla works and where the {article} tag is placed.

If you have this in a module, switch on the Prepare Content setting.

If the tag is not in an article or module (of type 'custom'), then the moment Articles Anywhere gets to see the html that contains the {article} tag, Joomla has already locked the head part of the html document.

Hi Peter,

thanks alot fo0r your answer.
And well ... sorry ... I really thought this would be a bug and I could help you with bug-reporting.
But seems it´s no bug, so everything is fine.
