Show on specific pageloads not working

Peter Wouda's Avatar Peter Wouda
Hi,

I tried several options to open the modal on specific downloads, but it is not showing at all. Only
open="true"
is working
{modal open="1-5, 10-15, 20-25" article="2371" }{/modal}

In the plugin I tried all three options in "open count based on" ( website- and page cookies and website session), but that makes no difference.

Kind regards,
Peter

This could be down to caching. Is the content you have the {modal} tag in cached?

Hi Peter,

I tried setting the "advanced/caching" option to "no caching" in the "custom" module where the {modal} tag is used, but that makes no difference.
The content of the modal is an article. Not sure if the caching can be disabled in an article.

The caching matters in the area where you place the {modal} tag. Not what you open inside the modal.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.

It seems to be working fine.
The modal showed on the first 5 views.
Then it didn't on the next 4.
Then it did on the next 6.
Not on 4.
It did on 6, etc...

So exactly like you set it up.

You are right. I can not reproduce yesterdays situation that the modal was not showing up at all when using "open count based on". Works fine now.

Sorry to have disturbed you.
