Modal Pop-up is not loading CSS of template

Rahi's Avatar Rahi
Hi,

I am using Modal Extension to show an article made with SP Page Builder.
It was showing perfectly OK with template's default CSS.
But since I have migrated from Joomla 3 to Joomla 4, in that pop-up window Template's default css is not loading and so page is showing blank.
Even the images are not showing there.

Please help.

Thanks,

Rahi

Modals for Joomla 4 is completely different to Modals for Joomla 3.
Also SP Page Builder and Joomla itself is different.

If styles are not loading, there is probably some conflict with the template.

Hi,

I have contacted SP Page Builder and Template's author but both has decline by saying that it is not their issue.
And in a way they are right, because those pages pages are showing perfectly fine without pop-up window.

So, can you please help to solve this issue?

I will truly appreciate it.

Thank you.

There is one more problem, If I disable "Load Stylesheet" so that templates stylesheet applies to the pop-up window then the modal button doesn't pop-up the window.
So, this is method is also not working.

Yes this url - www.staging.oshonisarga.com/upcoming-programs/calendar

Click on "Details of Program" and "Know the Facilitator" and see.

For example, the first program's page of "Details of Program" without pop-up -
www.staging.oshonisarga.com/calendar/the...day-celebration-2023
Shows proper css
but when click on the modal button, it doesn't load css.

This page is made in SP Page Builder.
and is working fine at current live website which is made in Joomla 3 -
www.oshonisarga.com/upcoming-programs/calendar

You can see the difference of css and image not loading.

Check the url of popup with ?tmpl=component:
www.staging.oshonisarga.com/calendar/the...-2023?tmpl=component

So... not a Modals issue. A template issue.

The component subtemplate is used to show pages without all the modules around it. Your template doesn't seem to load the correct stylesheets for that page.

If you need more information about that, ask your template developer.

Unfortunately, that template author has not published latest template for Joomla 4
and they are not providing any support anymore.

Hi Peter,
I tried 3 templates and checked them with "?tmpl=component" but same issue,
then how can it be the issue of the template?
Because all the templates can not be faulty.

Ask your template developer about this.

I am still not getting it!

This is not a Modals bug. This 'bug report' forum is to report bugs in the Regular Labs extensions.
That your templates don't style the 'component' views correctly, has nothing to do with Modals. I can't help you with this.
