bug with admin menu module

When I go by the administration modules in the left menu : administration menu : it uses the advance modules manager, and then uses the frontend menu interface instead of backend menu
administrator/index.php?option=com_advancedmodules&view=module&layout=edit&id=12&client_id=

I am not sure what you mean.
Clicking on the "Administrator Modules" link in the leftside menu in the administrator, brings me to:

/administrator/index.php?option=com_advancedmodules&view=modules&client_id=1

I am not sure what link you are clicking on and where...

I don't see the issue.
That takes me to:

/administrator/index.php?option=com_advancedmodules&task=module.edit&id=12

For me there is no 'client_id' in that URL.

See if logging out, clearing the browser session and logging back in helps...
