Position picklist on administrator modules is empty

Nico van Leeuwen's Avatar Nico van Leeuwen
When using a module (in my case a custom module in cpanel position) in the admin area the picklist for the positions is empty.

And Maybe as a side effect this module is now not showing up in the backend anymore. On another site I have not touched this field and that module is still visible (not sure if it's related yet).

Not sure what you mean.
If there is no position selected, then the module won't show up.
Isn't the solution here to just select the position?

Now you can only type the module position yourself. Seems the picklist is "broken".

That looks like Joomla 4. So you are testing out the dev version.
Well, stuff is not all working and finished in there.
But this thing is fixed in the latest dev version.

Yes, sorry I did not mention J4 at first.

Just tried the latest build but the issue is still there.
I can create a module in the admin area (tried type custom), assign to position cpanel through the picklist. This works fine, module shows up.

Then install AMM and try to add the same module again but then the picklist is broken for some reason.
After de-installing the AMM module the picklist is functioning again.

Ah, yes, the problem was indeed there with admin modules.
Should be fixed now.

Yes, the picklist is working now but the module is not showing up in the admin area yet. I tried reselecting the position but that did not work.

Try now... You'll have to resave the module after updating...
