I was convinced that my front-end user was imply closing the Browser Tab without either properly Saving or Canceling.
Then I tried myself several times, and each time after Saving the article was Locked (and of course in the green infobox there is the message that the article is saved and also that Cache Cleaner has cleaned cache).
Then I thought "why this issue now and not before"?
And I realized that the only new thing is that I had installed Cache Cleaner.
Then I disabled Cache Cleaner... and everything went fine in the front-end.
If you can't reproduce, I will be happy to give you the credentials to the website or to make a little demo video or to make a live session with you, acccording to your preference.
Tested right now (with the Free version to be precise).
Issue is indeed fixed with this development version.
