AMM System Plugin prevents accessing Modules in Backend when Access Admin Interface is not allowed

Patricia Lawson's Avatar Patricia Lawson
Hello Peter,
This is a funny one.
I have a set of users who need limited access to items in the Joomla Admin Console/backend. One thing they can do is create and edit their own modules.
They are not allowed to Access Administrator Interface (setting in Global Configuration), although they can log into the backend.

When they open the Modules menu item the url is this: index.php?option=com_advancedmodules
But they get a 403 error: You are not authorised to view this resource.
If I disable System - Regular Labs - Advanced Module Manager plugin for the site, the error goes away and they can create, edit modules normally.

Further, if I re-enable the Plugin and I add back Access Administrator Interface (in Global Config), then they can create, edit modules, etc.

I really do not want to allow Access Administrator Interface.

Can you take a look at this issue, please?

Regards,
Pat

WOW!
False alarm in every way!
So, it turns out I use PWT ACL for some management of ACL, particularly for exporting/importing settings onto existing systems.
Well, PWT ACL has a section that it added for Regular Labs Advanced Module Manager and it had access blocked for my users....
Unblock, turn on the system Plugin again, and all works.
I have images for you but I don't know where to host them so you can see them.

Sorry to bother you before discovering this.
