Errors when trying to create new module on Joomla 4.4.0

Michael Hermary's Avatar Michael Hermary
Hello,

I am using AMM 10.0.9 on Joomla 4.4.0 and am experiencing the following error when trying to create new modules (applies to all types).
0 RegularLabs\Library\Input::getInt(): Argument #2 ($default) must be of type ?int, string given, called in /var/www/development/administrator/components/com_advancedmodules/src/Model/ModuleModel.php on line 949
It was working previously, but suddenly stopped working this morning.

Server is running PHP 8.2.12 and MySQL 8.0.35

Cheers,

Hello Peter,

I just upgraded to the dev release of AMM. The same errors are occurring when creating new modules.

Hello Peter,

Unfortunately, the latest dev release was even worse.

The Joomla admin panel is now displaying the following error on all pages:
RegularLabs\Library\Input::getInt(): Return value must be of type int, null returned

Sorry about this. Should be fixed now:

If not, can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

Hello Peter,

The previous error is preventing me from logging into the administrator panel and updating to the latest dev release. What is the best way to disable the offending Regular Labs code so I can regain access?

Cheers,

Try deleting these folders:
/plugins/system/regularlabs
/libraries/regularlabs
(You will get other errors now).

Then install the latest dev version.

Hello Peter,

I have deleted those directories and have regained access to the website.

The dev release has been installed and AMM looks to be functioning as expected. I can create and save modules, plus edit and save them with no errors.

Thanks for your assistance with this matter.

Cheers,

Ok, great 🙂
The fix will be included in the next release.

I noticed a similar problem this afternoon - could not create a new module. (J4.4.1 - an upgrade site from J3 I am working on)

I found this forum entry and was going to try the latest development release but then saw a now release 10.0.11 PRO was available. I have installed that and now get

"These extensions seem to be missing parts that should be installed. Try reinstalling the extensions to fix this."

When installing with Extension Manager.

Reinstalling does not fix it. However, I can create modules now.

Did you reinstall all Regular Labs extensions after upgrading to Joomla 4?

Can you install the new dev version of Advanced Module Manager?
If you still get that message, can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

When I saw this I see that a new AMM was just released and there is no AMM in the development directory.
So I installed AMM 10.0.12 PRO
plus other new versions just available:

EmailProtect 6.0.2 PRO
CacheClean 9.1.0 PRO
Sourcerer 10.0.3 PRO

Extension Manager for AMM still showed "These extensions seem to be missing parts that should be installed. Try reinstalling the extensions to fix this."

I then reinstalled all the extensions I am using -- which are those same 4 + extension manager 9.0.0. Same error shows for AMM.

Sorry. Removed.

I installed the latest dev version. That solves the issue.
