I have built a LARGE site for a client and been waiting for the Joomla 4 version of Tab and Sliders to be able to upgrade the site.
The WHOLE site is built using Tab and Sliders - 53+ chapters of a books, each page having multiple tabs and multiple sliders - see here for an example
Will the new Tabs and Accordions - recognise the older syntax of
If yes - thankyou
If no - could you please add this to the next release ... otherwise we have to change a massive number of articles and sliders and test it all and make sure it works properly

You can change the tag word in the Tabs & Accordions settings for accordions from 'accordion' to 'slider'.
The class="icon" won't do anything in Tabs & Accordions.
But you can switch on a 'Add Icons' option in the settings to do that for all accordions on your site.
Or use icons="true" to overrule the setting (if you leave it switched to false).
If you need to bulk change (replace/remove) stuff in your articles, you can use DB Replacer.
This can for instance remove class="icon", or replace it with icon="true" in seconds.
Or replace '{slider' with '{accordion' (and '{/sliders}' with '{/accordions}'.
