I'm not sure it's a Snippet issue, but I have to start somewhere 🙂
I have a snippet with formatted text like H-tags.
When I insert this snippet in a Custom Field set up like Editor, p-tags are replaced with br on the page?
Can this be avoided?

I don't think this is down to Snippets itself...
What happens if you place the actual content of that snippet in the custom field? Does that retain the <p> tags?

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.
You can use the 'Confidential information' button in the forum editor to hide sensitive information.

Well, this happens because you told Snippets to do that through the Snippet settings:
