Hi,
how can I rename and manage the categories in ReReplacer?

There is no manager for categories. It just stores the category as a simple string. And groups the items with the same category name.
To 'rename' a category, you will have to rename it in all items within that category.

Alternatively, you can use DB Replacer to make the replacement in the database directly.

I edited every item and changed the category. Still, the old unused category appears in the category filter. How can I remove an old unused category name completely.
