Feature Request Support for Quick Index Plugin

GLOBAL ASIA CONSULTING LTD.'s Avatar GLOBAL ASIA CONSULTING LTD.
Dear Regular Labs Support Team,

I am currently using the Quick Index plugin for Joomla and am very pleased with the features it offers. However, I am facing an issue and hope to receive support from your team.

Issue Description:
I would like the corresponding item in the Table of Contents (TOC) created by the Quick Index plugin to be automatically highlighted when the user scrolls to a specific section of the article. This feature would greatly enhance the user experience, allowing them to easily determine their position in a long article.

At present, I have not found a way to achieve this with Quick Index and hope to receive guidance or a feature update from you.

I look forward to your response and support.

Best regrads,
D.

This is not something Quick Index supports itself. And there are no plans to implement any javascript based stuff.

On my own site I made some custom javascript to do that for the documentation index, as you can see in action here for instance:
docs4.regularlabs.com/quickindex/the-bas...include-in-the-index

You are welcome to try and copy the javascript that controls this. It is in here (with other stuff):
regularlabs.com/templates/regularlabs/js/script.js
