Not working with Yootheme builder

David MELCHIOR's Avatar David MELCHIOR
Hello,
I just discovered this component and it works perfectly if I integrate {index} in the body of an article.

The problem is that if I want to use it in the Yootheme builder, it doesn't work anymore.

I've consulted other topics on this forum and I've integrated the tag into an HTML element.

If anyone has any ideas

Thanks in advance

I expect there will be no solution for this.

Really ? ?

Hi,

I need some clarification on this, because I use Quick Index in content with pages built with Yootheme Pro without problems.

Only on one site I can't see the summary, which is why after a search I came across this post, where I discovered that Quick Index shouldn't work in my case and that there is even no solution.

Can I get clarification on this so I know what I should expect?

Many thanks and regards

Yootheme builder does things in a different way than Joomla core.

Quick Index is designed for Joomla content.
There is no specific support for Yootheme builder.

If it works for you in (some) Yootheme builder elements, then great, enjoy.
If not, then you'll have to accept that it doesn't work.

Hi Peter, thanks for the clarification.

@David MELCHIOR
I was able to make Quick Index work even on the site in Yootheme Pro where it didn't work before. It now works on all my sites, all built with Yootheme Pro. I suggest you check the order of the plugins by moving System - Regular Labs - Quick Index to the bottom, just before of System - SEF

Before you give up, you could try

Best Regards

@Paolo I just tried this but still not working...

David i got to work by using {index article="current"} in the template for articles and setting Auto Index to "yes".

I can't test on my website Claus because auto index is with pro version

That solution indeed works with yootheme. The only thing is that all pages have the index and it is not possible to have it only on the pages where I want it.
Strange thing is that when I turn Auto index off. The anchors dont work anymore. The url is correct so it should work but it just doesn't jump to the anchor.

I would be happy with a fix for yootheme as it is a very nice plugin.

You need to rearrange the plugins and make sure that Yootheme comes after the Quick index.

Hi,
I rearranged the plugins but it still does not work. At least not when 'auto index' is turned off.
Did you get it working with 'auto index' turned off? or is that option turned on in your site?
Claus Jensen's Avatar Claus Jensen
No auto index is turned ON but when you rearrange the plugins it will only appear on the pages where you add the {index} tag.
