Just noticed today that Quick Index 3.0 wasn't working on my website www.pgweb.uk . I reverted to 2.81 and it's working perfectly again. It turns out that 2.90 didn't work either.

PHP version is 7.4.23.

The pages where I noticed the issue are:

- all pages in the Community Directory, eg www.pgweb.uk/directory?Environment-and-Nature&category=26

- the web version of the weekly newsletter - mobile view only www.pgweb.uk/newsletters/weekly-newslett...emplate=protostarpgc

In both cases what follows the {index} tag is generated by some custom php (written by me, so probably not very good, but it does work)

Have I missed some change in the syntax between 2.8 and 2.9?

I've been experimenting on a development copy of the website with Quick Index 3.0 installed. I had the Jotcache plugin as last in the list with Page Cache last but one. I've now disabled both and uninstalled JCH Optimize (which was disabled anyway because it was causing problems). No change, Quick Index still doesn't work.

Thanks Peter, that works. Great stuff, as always! I see that the dev version was actually created three days ago, so before I raised the ticket.

Was it something specific to my website or configuration that was causing the issue? If not, it's strange that no-one else reported it.

Ah, I didn't have a closing tag, that was the problem...

...but the three-days old version worked
