Articles fields also for Contacts?

Is it possible to extend / use the 'Articles Field' also for the joomla 'Contact Component'? I have a lot of contacts, which I would like to assign/connect with articles.

You actually can do it. If you create an Articles Field and assign it to the Contact component, it will work fine.

However, the articles will not link back to the Contact, so you can only do a one way connection from Contacts to Articles
