Bonjour,
Je dois modifier mon n° de TVA avant de renouveler mes abonnements.
Or mon n° de TVA est refusé par votre formulaire, et je suis bloqué.
Ce numéro de TVA est valable (vérifié sur ec.europa.eu ).
Que faire ?

Probably a temporary issue with the ec.europa.eu server.

Best to disable the auto renewal. Wait 24 hours and try again.

Thank you for your feedback. It still doesn't work.
Worse, I created a new account with another email address, and the profile settings form doesn't save, with or without VAT number.

You might have browser extensions getting in the way. Try disabling any ad blockers and/or try a different browser.

Thanks, I used Chrome instead of Firefox, and I was able to fill in the new profile. Unfortunately, the VAT number is still not validated by the service through your form, even though it is validated when I use the service directly. Therefore, I cannot proceed with purchasing licenses.

I tried a couple of times with the VAT number stored in your details. It sometimes goes through ok, sometimes not.
So yeah, an issue with the VIES server. They have issues regularly. Unfortunately, no way around it.
I recommend you try multiple times until it goes through ok.

It still doesn't work.
I created a new account hoping it would work better...
My VAT number: FR0B443677927. When going directly through VIES, it works.
When going through your form, it doesn't work.
What should I do?
If I don't enter the VAT number, will the VAT details appear on your invoices?

Unfortunately there is not much you can do than keep trying. Even when the VIES site itself is working, their api connection often has down times.
