Works perfectly thank you. Given that it failed in the same way for the J3 version of tabs this must have been an issue that was around for a while. Will you have an update for the J3 version?
Only reason I found it was that I moved away from the HTMLHelper functions for creating tabs to using your tabs interface.
Hello Peter and everybody,
I also installed the dev version on my Joomla 4 testsite. Technically it works fine.
I have two questions/ issues about the design:
1. There was a yellow accentuation when clicking on a tab. I don't have this function any more, is it gone with the Joomla!4 plugin version?
2. the color templates and dark modes are not working, it is always showing the basic layout of tabs, lines or piles. It does not matter if I enable "Color Panels" or not. Should it work with the free version?
1) Correct, Tabs & Accordions is not the same as Tabs (for J3).
The yellow thing was a styling choice back then. Styling for Tabs & Accordions is different.
If you want to style things differently, you can override CSS styling via your templates custom CSS (or CSS overrides).
2) The themes and color-panels should work on the free version too.
The effect of the color-panels option is only visible when the tabs have an actual color.
So try:
Thanks everyone for testing.

Then why do you recommend that I purchase the next Sliders update in my list of extensions? Now you tell me I should have read something that was not even mentioned with a hint... weird.
So can I exchange my Sliders purchase for the Tabs & Accordions?
If you use Sliders on a Joomla 3 setup and want to keep using/updating it, then you will indeed need a subscription for Sliders.
If you no longer use Joomla 3, and are using Joomla 4, then you will need to use Tabs & Accordions.
