what image formats are supported by modals

hi,
I am using the latest modals pro [14.1.0] (joomla 5.1.4)
and I wonder what image formats* are fully supported by modals
(inkl. gallery-functions and automatic thumnails creation and so on ...)

could not find it in the docs .

In the settings you will find that the Media Files is set to: bmp,eps,gif,jpg,jpeg,pdf,png

You can extend this list, but might cause issues with the thumbnail creation. You can test this yourself.

we talked about the webp Format years ago:

but it seems that this does not made it into the release

I think it is pretty safe to change that fields value to "bmp,eps,gif,jpg,jpeg,pdf,png,webp".
Let me know if you run into any issues when using webp images...
