I have closed the screen around the video and showing the background screen from where the modal was clicked.
Can the close button be inside the modal?

The position of the close button is defined by the theme and the CSched.
You could choose the 'Classic' theme, which has the close button inside the modal.
Or use CSS to customize the styling.
