Class "RegularLabs\Library\Parameters" not found

Floris Langendam's Avatar Floris Langendam
Hi,

I updated my website to Joomla4 and installed the extensionmanager again after clearing the cache.

But I get this error: Class "RegularLabs\Library\Parameters" not found

Please advise me what to do.

Try deleting these folders:
/plugins/system/regularlabs
/libraries/regularlabs
(You will get other errors now).

Then reinstall…

Hi Peter,

These folders are not present!

Something weird on your setup.

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

I uninstalled the Regular Labs Extension Manager.
Reinstalled it. All looks fine.

Note:

I did have a similar issue witht the following error message both in the front-end and in the back-end (I don't know which of the updates of yesterday/today did cause that):

Going to the Extension Manager I was also having this:
Class "RegularLabs\Library\Parameters" not found

I did uninstall the Extension Manager and reinstalled it... and it seems to be OK now.

Thanks for solving this problem.
Although it's strange that I did the same steps and it didn't work.

We experienced the same error. Removing the 2 directories Peter noted and then reinstalling the extension manager resolved the issue for us.

We're upgrading a different site today and when we received the error message this time the steps described above didn't resolve the error. I removed the RL folders located in Libraries and Plugins and also reinstalled the extension manager and cleared caches, but the error message persists.

Update: Uninstalling the RL extension manager package as well as the RL Library package, and then reinstalling the extension manager fixed it in this case. I had previously also removed the RL folders in the libraries and the plugins/system folders, too.

Ok, happy you have it solved.

After going around this circle a few times I uninstalled Extension Manager yet again. The two folders mentioned above were already deleted. I also uninstalled the Regular Labs -Library (Package) and Regular Labs Library (Library). Then I reinstalled the Extension Manager again and everything was OK. I think it took me four tries to get there, but this worked.

I'm having this same issue. I uninstalled the package and made sure the library and plugin were deleted. I reinstalled the latest version (8.3.0) for Joomla 4 but am still getting:

Class "RegularLabs\Library\Parameters" not found.

When I check the files there is not ../libraries/regularlabs folder

The login credentials do not work.

Uninstall the Regular Labs Library package.
Make sure these folders are deleted:
/plugins/system/regularlabs
/libraries/regularlabs

Then reinstall the latest version of the extension you installed.

I deleted those folders and have tried to reinstall but it is still giving me that error.

I get a successful response when installing the extension

The Regular Labs Extension Manager v8.3.0 has been successfully reinstalled
info
The Regular Labs Extension Manager v8.3.0 has been successfully reinstalled
Latest changes:
v8.3.0 [23-May-2023]

+ Adds link to the documentation in the footer text
^ J4 Improves memory usage preventing memory exhaustion in some cases

I checked the extensions table and made sure there were no legacy entries.

The only place I can find reference to this is in administrator > components > com_refularlabsmanager > tmpl > main > default.php
Lines 15-18
use RegularLabs\Library\Document as RL_Document;
use RegularLabs\Library\DownloadKey as RL_DownloadKey;
use RegularLabs\Library\Parameters as RL_Parameters;
use RegularLabs\Library\Version as RL_Version;

Not sure if I'm helping or being confusing! I'm still getting the error and cannot manage all of my other RL extensions 🙁

Also, I'm assuming that I will need to reinstall all of my other Regular labs extensions...but will I have to update assignments on all of the modules (please say I won't have to)?

I logged in, uninstalled the Regular Labs Library package, reinstalled the Extension Manager.
All is working. You can now update the extensions via the Regular Labs Extension Manager.
