Unable to update to pro

Peter Bödeker's Avatar Peter Bödeker
Hello,
I updated today some site to Joomla 4. I did that sometimes before. Today I installed on the new site Extension-Manager 8.2.1. and now I can not update to PRO. All the extension were only installed in the free-version. I tried to reinstall sometimes - no change.
What can I do?
Best regards
Peter

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?

I just tried to update Advanced Module Manager on that site using the Regular Labs Extension Manager, and it went fine.
Can you still reproduce the issue?

No, I can not reproduce it. But it still doesn't work.
I also tried with another browser.
But I can install the pro-version manually (download articles-anywhere-pro.zip and install with the Joonla-Installer).

I tried again after cleaning all caches - no change.

No, I can not reproduce it. But it still doesn't work.
I don't follow.
If it doesn't work, then what is the issue you are running into? Isn't that the same as being able to reproduce the issue?

I just clicked on 'Update All' in the Regular Labs Extension Manager, and all installed well.
So not sure what it is that was not working for you...

Or were you trying to update via the Joomla core updater?

Very strange.
I have this problem with several other sites, e.g.

I have set the regularlabs superuser on both pages as a test.
The update then worked on the first page. But on the second page (art ...) I can log in with whatever I want, delete the cache ... again and again only the free version is installed.

Here, for example, is the message for Advcanced Module Manager:
success
Advanced Module Manager v9.4.0 has been successfully reinstalled
The Regular Labs Library v22.10.20220 has been successfully reinstalled
Regular Labs Conditions v22.10.20220 has been successfully reinstalled
info
Advanced Module Manager v9.4.0 has been successfully reinstalled

Can you do anything with it? As I said, on both sides the superuser would be set up for regularlabs.

Sorry, the site, where it does not work, is kunst-welten.de

Can you give me the exact steps you are taking to get to that point.

If I open the Regular Labs Extension Manager on that website, I see this:

Is it any different for you?

I see that, too:

You can place images by giving the url to the images. There is no image upload option here on the forum.

So, again, can you explain what steps you are taking to get to the problem you are having?
What page are you on? What buttons are you clicking? Etc…

I press "Alle aktualisieren" and get the following screen:

Then I go "back" and get again:

When I press "Neu laden" nothing changes.

Can you also give me (s)ftp access so I can take a deeper look?

Not sure what it is yet, built it looks like there is some weird file/server caching going on that is preventing ajax calls from getting new data (falls back on previous loaded data).
Is there some non-standard caching thing going on on your server? Maybe something host-specific?

PS: This caching thing affects both ajax calls and javascript files.
