Upgrade to 7.4.6 Causing WebSite to Stop Working

I upgraded Extension manager to 7.4.6 yesterday and it caused the whole website to stop working. Just a blank screen whatever I tried.

The website host said it was a php problem and could not fix it. So I had to reupload the whole site - a big job!

The site is now working, but I am reluctant to attempt any of the upgrades again. Any advice?

My advice:

1) First, disable all Regular Labs system plugins.

2) Then delete these folders:
/plugins/system/regularlabs
/libraries/regularlabs
(You might get other errors now).

3) Then update all the Regular Labs extensions to their latest version.



4) Re-enable the system plugins (one-by-one).



It is of course best to do all this on your test environment first. The one you use to test all (major) updates of Joomla and extensions.

Thank you. But I don't think I will. Losing everything yesterday - after 25 years of hard work - was a shock and I cannot risk it happening again. I do not have a test environment to try with.
