I have created a template within Content Template. I have built in a standard category (subcategory) in the category. The frontend shows this category when I view it from a desktop. However, a different view is shown on my phone. Then the main category including the subcategory is displayed. I can also adjust the category manually, but if I do this via the desktop, the category cannot be adjusted.
Any idea what could be going on here?
Not sure if I understand you correctly, but Content Templater has nothing to do with what fields are shown or which are editable in the edit form. It only fills the fields that are available in the form.
Hello, Here is the link to an example of two pictures where you can see the differences. I also removed the template override and there is a difference.
No, the category of the article are not equal. On mobile there is "Mededelingen" (not correct) and on PC/Laptop is de category "Bestuur". This is correct according the settings in Content Template.
Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.
You can use the 'Confidential information' button in the forum editor to hide sensitive information.
Thanks. I installed the latest version, but no result. I still got not the correct category. And what I see that the title is not filled in on the mobile version.
For some reason on your mobile site the 'document ready' event is triggered before the defer scripts are loaded. Which shoukd not happen.
I can also not repproduce this on any of my sites.
So it is probably due to your template or some other extension messing with things.
I think I know where the problem is. When I specifically set the category to Yes in the menu item, it is adopted when loading the template when used on my mobile. If I set this to No, it will not be adopted on mobile, but it will be when I request this menu item via the PC/Laptop. This is strange, isn't it? While I don't change anything under "Overwrite settings".
