"Invalid controller class: display" in modal window on clicking the Content Templater editor button

Thank you for the J!4 version of Content Templater! I've been anxiously awaiting it 🙂

I just installed Content Templater v11.0.1-dev2447514 on a site updated from J!3 to J!4.2.3. All of the snippets created under J!3 are recognized, but when I click the editor button in JCE Pro 2.9.30 the modal window opens up with the Joomla error page and the message "Invalid controller class: display"

I am using JCE here on my J4 test sites, and all is fine.

Do you get that error with any other editor buttons that open a modal?

Sourcerer, Widgetkit, Engage Box, etc. all work correctly. Just CT gives the error. The same happens with Code Mirror.

Can you give me (super) admin access so I can take a look?

Hmmm, frontend. And also without a WYSIWYG editor.
Not really stuff I Content Templater prepared for 😬

I'll see if I can get it working for frontend use.
But don't expect a fix within a day.

Understood, thanks 🙂 It worked perfectly in the front end in J!3. Front end users will always have JCE.
