Conditions do not work in blog view or in Articles Anywhere

Didier's Avatar Didier
A question about conditions

An article contains conditional content based on the value of a custom field (via a Condition Set).

When displaying the article via a direct menu link, the conditions work.

When displaying the article via a blog menu link, the conditions do not work in the blog.

When I click on the article in the blog, the article is displayed correctly, taking into account the conditions.

When calling and displaying the article via Articles Anywhere, the conditions do not work either.

Is this normal behavior or am I doing something wrong?

I want to call articles with content conditions in a custom module via Articles Anywhere, is this possible?

And perhaps even stronger: can the content of a custom module depend on the value of custom field in a specific article?

Thanks.

The condition you have created, will base the value of that custom field on whatever the page is at that moment.

When showing a blog page, the current page is a category, not an article. So it will not be able to see the custom field.

When outputting and article via Articles Anywhere, The condition, again, will see the page as the parent article. And find the custom field of that parent article.

If you want to output articles conditionally, use the conditions (filters and if structures) of Articles Anywhere, and not Conditional Content.
