Condition content based on devices

Peter Bibb's Avatar Peter Bibb
Hello Peter, I am trying to control an image based on the device, using this code generated by the Conditional Content Button:

{show devices="mobile"}<img src="images/Secondary/Accord%20validation%20page/validation_mobile%20version2.jpg" alt="validation" width="709" height="567" />{show-else}<img src="images/Secondary/Accord%20validation%20page/ACCORD%20Validation%20Banner.jpg" alt="validation" width="2251" height="510" />{/show}

I am not getting the mobile version displayed on mobile phones. I have tried reinstalling the module. Can you advise on what else I should do?

Joomla 5.1.2 and Conditional Content 5.1.8

Thank you

Peter

You probably have the Page Cache system plugin enabled. That caches the entire page including all modules.
You don't want that plugin enabled.

Actually this led me to turning off the caching for the specific modules where the condition was deciding which image to display. This is the perfect solution, so thank you Peter for going beyond and providing that critical extra piece of information about the caching link. And on a Sunday.

Excellent support!

Nope. You have a lifetime bundle, so not really a way you can 'pay' through a subscription...
