Membership Pro - component in a tab

Graham S. JARVIS's Avatar Graham S. JARVIS
Hello,

can I upload a screencast which shows some strange behaviour when I try to setup componentsanywhere in a tab?

On b-l-s.lu/membership/members-resources the Members Resources article has several tabs and a "Partner/Spouse Management" tab is setup as follows:
{tab title="Partner/Spouse Management" access="Membership-Group_Admin"}

Please add or edit the information for your Partner/Spouse here.
(NOTE: You have to logout and login in again to refresh this list)

{component index.php?option=com_osmembership&view=groupmembers}

If I set up a Joomla menu to do this the behaviour is as expected.
I suspect it is a permissions issue.

Any ideas?

This is not a bug report, but a n extension usage question.

I take it you mean that the component is not being placed?
Please see: docs3.regularlabs.com/componentsanywhere

PS: No, you can't upload images or screencasts here. You will need to upload them to whatever service you use and link to it here.
But I prefer you just explain the issue in writing.

Sorry!
(I don't know how I picked the Bug Reports area)

The component is being placed - and I have corrected the syntax (url="...") following the instructions ( regularlabs.com/extensions/componentsany...-get-the-correct-url )

The "issue" is that it behaves differently when I use the component and when I use the menu item.

The only way to show this is via a screencast.
Can I E-Mail it to you (7MB .mp4 file)?
- Otherwise I'll upload it to google drive/dropbox and send you a link.
(Which do you prefer?)

Thanks.

Did you add the menu ID to the URL in the tag?

Yes, as per the instructions ( regularlabs.com/extensions/componentsany...-get-the-correct-url )

PS: The screencast is only 4MB
I have put it here: advanz.lu/MembershipPro_component.mp4

Try switching on the 'Add Scripts & Styles' option in the Components Anywhere system plugin settings.

The 'Add Scripts & Styles' option in the Components Anywhere system plugin settings - was already "YES"
(All "Behaviour" settings were already set to "YES")

Can you give me (super) admin and (s)ftp access so I can take a look?
And tell me on what url I can see/reproduce the issue.
